So far I’ve been reading A LOT about how to set up for a fair, the items I will need and so on, but the one thing I haven’t been doing is making!! This is a big issue when the products I sell are things I have made!
To be fair, I have a lot of soaps made and cured, but they aren’t wrapped. I cannot decide on how to package them at all. Who knew it would be so hard to decide. There’s so many different choices and looking on pinterest how people wrap theirs just seems to make it worse. Some people like soaps fully wrapped, some like to be able to see them, some people just put cigar bands round the soaps, others put them in little bags. I really can’t decide. I always think I have set on an idea when I wrap the soaps for the shop I sell them at, but then each time I go to wrap more, I have completely changed my mind.
I don’t have any cards made. My cards are usually always made to order. I make the odd one when I’m coming up with designs, but I never make a lot of anything and I really need to get making, but just can’t.
I need to make some more hoop art, again, I have everything bought and ready and waiting, but haven’t actually made anything.
I need to make and fill Halloween treat bags. I have 4 that I made awhile ago to see how I liked them, I bought the Halloween sweets when I was in the US, but again, I can’t bring myself to make any.
So far, this preparing for a craft fair isn’t going too well…..
