Today’s video showcases the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set and the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set with the co-ordinating punch. I really do love these stamp sets at the moment. The gorgeous grunge and papillon potpourri stamp sets look so good by themselves, but also go amazingly together.
In the video I used Watermelon wonder, but for the instructions, I’m using Tip Top Taupe.
Base
1. A4 piece of Whisper white, score and fold in half then cut to 14.5 cm x 10 cm
2. Cut Tip top taupe 14 x 9.5 and attach to the whisper white
Sentiment
1. Cut a piece of whisper white 13.5 cm x 9 cm
2. Ink the ‘lines’ stamp from the gorgeous grunge stamp set with Tip Top Taupe ink and stamp in the middle of the whisper white.
3. Using a small butterfly from the Papillon potpourri stamp set, stamp onto a piece of Tip Top Taupe card using Tip Top Taupe ink.
4. Punch out the butterfly using the co-ordinating bitty butterfly punch.
5. Attach to the top of the card using a glue dot.
6. Stamp a large butterfly from the same stamp set on the bottom left of the card using matching ink.
7. Finally, add a sentiment. I used Happy Birthday from the Endless Birthday Wishes.
8. To finish the card off, stamp a small butterfly on the inside of the card – I stamp first on a piece of scrap paper and then on to the inside of the card so you only get a faint image.
I really think that you can use any colour to make these cards and they still look good.
