Happy Sunday everyone!
This weeks video carries on with the Gorgeous Grunge and Papillon Potpourri theme. However I also used a bit of Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper.
I love the paper but sometimes I don’t want to make cards with images of sweets and cakes on it etc, but that doesn’t matter with this paper pack as not only do you have the ‘fun’ papers, you also have some lovely background papers that co-ordinate really well with SU cardstock. For these two cards, I used Cucumber Crush and Tip Top Taupe Cherry on Top DSP, but I used their more neutral patterns, that were lovely and simple.
Base
1. Score and fold a piece of Whisper White then cut 14.5 cm x 10.5 cm.
2. Cut a piece of Cucumber Crush 14 cm x 10 cm and attach to the base card.
Sentiment
1. Cut a piece of co-ordinating Cherry On Top DSP 8.5 cm x 6 cm
2. Cut a piece of Cucumber Crush card 8 cm x 5.5 cm
3. I only wanted a little bit of the ‘lined’ stamp showing (from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set) so I placed a piece of scrap paper on either side of the Cucumber Crush card so that when I stamped, the image only showed in the middle.
4. Stamp using one of the butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri set and attach.
5. Stamp on a scrap piece of Cucumber Crush one of the small butterflies from Papillon Potpurri and punch out using the co-ordinating punch. Attach to the big butterfly using a glue dot.
6. Finally, I stamped a sentiment using the Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set.
