So today, I decided to make my first card for the Mojo Monday Challenge
This is the sketch we were given.
Base
1. As always, cut a piece of Whisper White 10 cm x 30 cm
2. Score and Fold in half so it is 10 cm x 15 cm
3. Cut a piece of Whisper White 9.5 cm x 14.5 cm
4. Using Dimensional, attach to the base card
Embellishments
1. Using the Dots of Days stamp set and Smoky Slate ink, stamp image onto a piece of Whisper White
2. Using the 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, punch out a circle from the dotted paper .
3. Cut out a banner shape approx 2 cm x 7 cm from the dotted paper
4. Stamp an image from the Papillon Potpurri stamp set in Smoky Slate and punch out using the co-ordinating punch.
Topper
1. Cut a piece of Whisper White 9.5 cm x 7 cm – no particular reason other than I had this size of scrap paper lying around and didn’t want to waste it :)
2. Attach the banner image onto the bottom of the Whisper White.
3. Put glue on half of the circle image and attach to the underside of the Whisper White.
4. Stamp the ‘Butterfly antenna’ at an angle.
5. Using Dimensionals, attach the punched out Butterfly image making sure it matches up to the stamped ‘antenna’.
6. Stamp a sentiment using Smoky Slate
7. Finally, attach the topper to the card using Dimensionals.
